Privacy Policy

CMG Tutoring is operated by Julio Cesar Gallardo d/b/a CMG Tutoring. This policy explains how information is handled when you contact us, request a consultation, or use our tutoring services.
Information you provide. We receive the information you choose to submit, such as your name, email, subject or course, academic level, learning goals, deadlines, meeting preferences, and availability. Phone or WhatsApp details are optional. If you share learning materials, remove unnecessary personal information first. Do not send passwords, Social Security numbers, bank or card details, or school account credentials through the inquiry form.
How information is used. We use your information to respond to your inquiry, assess whether the service is a suitable fit, arrange sessions, provide tutoring, communicate about your booking, and maintain necessary business records. Providing a phone number does not sign you up for marketing messages.
Service providers and links. Hostinger hosts this website and may process technical information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and protect the site. Email communications are handled through Google Workspace. The inquiry form sends your details through this Hostinger-hosted website to our Google Workspace inbox and sends a separate confirmation to the email address you provide. The site does not currently accept file uploads or online payments. If you use Google Calendar booking or an online meeting service, that provider processes the details needed for that service under its own privacy terms. For abuse prevention, the form temporarily keeps keyed hashes of the submitting IP address and email address with timestamps and sending counts; entries are removed after 24 hours during subsequent submissions. Submitted messages are not stored in this rate-limit record. Delivery diagnostic records contain only timestamps, references, and delivery status; they do not contain inquiry text, email addresses, or phone numbers. Links to other websites, including Wyzant, lead to services with their own privacy policies.
Retention and security. We restrict access to information to what is needed to operate the service and take reasonable precautions to protect it. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. We keep information only as long as needed for its stated purpose or applicable recordkeeping obligations. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion; some records may need to be retained where required by law.
Children and parents. The inquiry and booking process is intended for adults and students aged 13 or older. A parent or guardian should contact us on behalf of a child under 13. Children under 13 should not submit this form or send materials directly. If we learn that a child under 13 has submitted personal information, we will address it appropriately, including deletion where required. Parents or guardians should arrange and authorize paid services for minors.
